[he goes back to the box of seeds, sorting them out]

[after about fifteen minutes, he puts all of the food into the pot above the fireplace, lighting it.]

I'll go find a healer now. Can you watch the fire while I'm out?

[fetches his Ophiuchus cloak and puts it on, stepping out the door.]

[just watching the fire dimly]

[he's back after an hour, closing the door behind him.]

How's the food?

It's fine. I think.

[crossing over to look in the pot, giving it a stir experimentally.]

What did the healer say?

She said it sounded like chest or heart problems, but if it only happened once, there was no real way of knowing. That it could be stress.

[a pause]

She's had to treat other Ophiuchus, lately, but not with that kind of problem.

[starts ladling the stew out into bowls]

What do you mean? What other kind of problem?

It's only a few of them. But some have started behaving strangely.
